Job Description:
Description Job Summary The Human Resources Manager supports the
day-to-day execution of key HR functions, including employee
relations, performance management, leadership support, onboarding,
HRIS coordination, compliance, and policy implementation. This role
partners with clinical and administrative leaders to provide
guidance on HR processes and workplace matters while developing
strong judgment and leadership capability. The position operates in
close collaboration with and under the mentorship of the Vice
President of Human Resources to ensure alignment with
organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and best
practices within a fast-paced medical group environment. Duties and
responsibilities Provides coaching, consultation, and strategic HR
support to leaders and employees to resolve HR-related matters.
Collaborates with VP of HR, on employee relations concerns
including investigations, conflict resolution, grievances,
corrective action guidance, and disciplinary oversight. Guides
leaders through the progressive discipline process, including
documentation, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
Assist in performance management activities including evaluations,
competencies, merit cycles, job description updates, and
compensation recommendations. Supports HR Generalist with new hire
onboarding and ensures consistent first-day coordination,
orientation, training schedules, and integration into clinic
operations. In collaboration with VP of HR, supports talent
acquisition and practice administration to support staffing needs,
interview processes, and selection decisions. Manages HRIS data
accuracy, reporting, workflows, and document control while
identifying opportunities to optimize system functionality and user
experience. Supports VP of HR with compliance of federal, state,
and local employment laws including ADA, FMLA, ACA, FLSA, OSHA,
HIPAA, and EEO. Supports VP of HR with ADA, FMLA, STD, and LOA
processes including communication, tracking, documentation, and
compliance monitoring. Supports leadership with audit readiness for
DHS, and other regulatory requirements. Audits employee files,
licenses, certifications, and HR documents using routine HR reports
such as turnover, and contract expirations. Supports VP of HR with
developing policies, updates, and implements HR policies and
procedures; supports process improvement initiatives and workflow
enhancements. Collaborates with VP of HR and delivers targeted HR
communications and supports organizational development, engagement,
and culture-building initiatives. Builds strong partnerships with
practice administration, credentialing, compliance, and finance to
support coordinated HR operations. In collaboration with VP of HR,
supports executive leadership with change management involving
transitions, expansions, leadership shifts, and integration of
acquired groups. Performs other duties as assigned. Direct reports

Qualifications Qualifications and Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, or
related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and
progressive HR experience accepted. Five years plus of progressive
HR experience, or equivalent required. Experience managing teams
preferred. Experience in a physician owned medical group practice
setting strongly preferred. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of
HRIS systems with proficiency in managing and maintaining HR data.
Ability to demonstrate lead investigations, guide leaders, and
manage sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism.
Licensure and Certifications PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification
preferred but not required. Working conditions Works onsite in an
office or clinical setting. Emphasizes collaboration with various
stakeholders. Necessitates effective communication and teamwork.
Functions in a fast-paced environment. May require flexibility in
working hours. Requires adherence to safety protocols and
compliance with healthcare regulations. Valid driver’s license and
reliable transportation for travel between locations. Physical
requirements Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to sit,
stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend,
kneel, crawl and twist as needed. Must be able to see, hear, type,
