Job Description:
Vaco is partnering with a company located in Scottsdale to find
a Vice President of Accounting who thrives in a hands-on,
multifaceted role. This position is ideal for an accounting leader
who thrives on building teams, driving influence, and collaborating
closely, while gaining meaningful exposure to executive leadership
and playing a key role in shaping the next stage of a growing
platform. Responsibilities include: Serves as the primary
accounting authority across both corporate and property-level
entities Builds, mentors, and manages multiple accounting teams
while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations Someone
who has hands-on exposure to acquisitions, financing, and
increasingly complex transactions Excels in fast-growing
organizations where priorities shift and new opportunities emerge
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Masters in
Accounting. CPA designation is required to be considered. Proven
senior-level accounting leadership experience in private equity,
real estate or investment management environments Background
working within PE-backed organizations or platforms undergoing
institutional growth This role is required to be 5 days onsite.
Salary is $170k-$190k plus bonus. To be immediately considered,
