University Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner
(NP) to join our Neurology-Epilepsy team in both inpatient and
outpatient settings. This APP will collaborate with
epileptologists, neurosurgeons, and a multidisciplinary team to
provide comprehensive epilepsy care, including managing patients in
the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and outpatient clinics. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct neurological exams, evaluate seizure
disorders, and develop treatment plans. Manage inpatient EMU
admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning. Provide
outpatient follow-up care, medication management, and patient
education. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and assist in
coordinating advanced epilepsy treatments. Maintain thorough
documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited NP program with
national certification. Eligible for Arizona licensure with
prescriptive authority and DEA registration. BLS certification
(ACLS preferred). Preferred: Experience in neurology, epilepsy, or
EEG interpretation. Knowledge of advanced epilepsy treatments (EMU,
