Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ED /n/n Job Details: /n • Work a varied schedule in the Emergency Department /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients /n• Required certifications: TNCC, NIH, BLS, and current valid RN license /n• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs /n• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team /n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities /n• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed /n• Document all nursing activities including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation /n• Participate in shared leadership, education, orientation and mentoring activities /n• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing quality patient care /n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies with annual validations /n• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months required /n• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred /n• Must possess physical agility and adequate reaction time for emergency situations /n• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient assistance /n• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare organization that provides excellent patient care through evidence-based practices and professional nursing standards.
