Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,277 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance Competency in maintaining a sterile field Strong IV skills required Willingness to float to other ICUs and telemetry units Description: The position requires working in a high-acuity environment. Nurses will care for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, among other high-complexity cases. RNs are expected to complete essential skills assessments on the first day of orientation. There will be a focus on competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes during the SIMs Lab. Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 in this setting. A high number of bedside procedures will be performed, including bronchoscopy and placement of advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices. The successful candidate will have experience with specialized cardiac interventions such as IABP and CRRT. Weekend shifts are required with a total of three weekends in a four-week schedule. Holidays will be worked into the rotation. Nurse aides will assist RNs, but strong individual skills are a must. This role is suited for candidates who are proactive and comfortable in fast-paced clinical settings.
