Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at Sonora Quest Laboratories, a
strategic alliance between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, and
contribute to our mission of providing exceptional diagnostic
testing services across Arizona. As a Medical Lab Technician or
Medical Lab Scientist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing
test results and supporting clinicians in diagnosing and treating
various medical conditions. Your precision and attention to detail
will ensure the high quality of care that Sonora Quest Laboratories
is known for. Conduct clinical tests on patient samples to aid in
diagnosis and medical research. Follow established procedures for
collecting and processing biological samples. Analyze and report
test results, maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and
determine additional testing as required. Adhere to all safety
guidelines to ensure a safe and professional workplace. Participate
in continuing education and training to stay current with the
latest developments and technologies in the field. Expertise in
operating and maintaining laboratory equipment. Strong analytical
skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in
a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Proficiency in data management systems and
computer applications related to laboratory practices.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical
Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by ASCP or equivalent.
