lead a sales team, identify opportunities to present our

- Develop and lead a HVP spoke and hub network
- Onboard carriers, warehouses and first and last mile delivery
providers
- Develop sales strategies for HVP customers and carriers
- Create a culture that inspires Operations Excellence
- Mentor and lead a team of inside salespeople; provide HVP
industry expertise, guidance and support
- Interview and train new employees, conduct employee reviews and
establish detailed performance goals
- Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations; work
cross-functionally to review pricing, market penetration and
service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Drive both revenue and margin growth across HVP vertical;
develop and maintain best business practices and cost controls
- Develop sales pipelines and strategies
- Review sales and operations activity KPIs, including revenue,
margin, load count, call logs and CRM adherence
- Review customer and carrier metrics in real time
- Assist with submitting timely customer bid packages and
RFPs
- Ability to travel up to 40% per monthWhat you need to succeed
at RXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
- 4 years of HVP transportation experience
- Spoke and Hub development experience
- First and Last Mile White Glove experience (B2B or B2C)
- Strong Sales and Operations HVP experienceIt'd be great if you
also have:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of non-asset-based brokerage or freight forwarding
experience
- 5 years of white glove / last mile experience
- Experience in management and leadership; conflict resolution
experience
- Ability to prioritize work and complete projects effectively
within time limits
- Strong ability to think strategically and drive sales
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to
effectively supervise, coach and influence employeesWe are proud to
