Job DescriptionEdge Logistics is seeking highly motivated, intelligent, competitive recent college graduates to join our growing sales and business development team. Recently placing 46th in Inc. Magazine's fastest growing company list and 3rd fastest growing in Chicago in 2018 and #918 in 2019 - we are looking for eager, recent graduates to help this company continue it's active growth! Our Phoenix location is our newest office and we are looking for ideal candidates to help lead this new venture. This opportunity will provide applicants with the potential to build out Edge's West Coast presence. This job primarily focuses on developing our core accounts and sourcing carrier partners who best serve our customer's needs. At Edge you will have the opportunity to market and grow your own book of business within our network.   • Book available freight in a cost effective manner
  • Source and negotiate with carrier base to move available loads.
  • Build strong carrier relationships: Via phone, posting services, email marketing, etc.
  • Communicate customer problems, leads, and inquiries to the sales reps.
  • Properly document truck capacity within TMS.
  • When possible, pre-plan the use of carriers and equipment for efficiency.Qualifications
    • Bachelors Degree, Business, Sales Marketing, and communication preferred
    • Recent college graduates preferred
    • Skilled with computer and technology usage, past basics
