High Commissions, NO CAP ON EARNINGS!! Great opportunity to get paid for enrolling commercial, industrial, municipal, and other non-profit companies and organizations into Maines Community Solar program, while saving them money on their entire electric bill. Job Functions: Develop sales strategies to attract new clients Identify new targets within territories and market sectors Generate leads though outbound calling, online networking efforts (Webinars, educational events, etc.) and participation in physical networking events including specific industry trade shows Build customer and community partner referral relationships Visit customers as required to drive business development Educate customers to the financial and environmental benefits of Community Solar as an alternative to their present electricity supply program. Utilizing electronic tools and applications provided to enroll customer in a community solar farm program Manage customer through the sales process and detail the required action that leads to a signed agreement. Other Job Functions: Effectively communicate status of sales opportunities and client activity with management. Maintain and expand technical knowledge of the Maine Community Solar Program Monitor market conditions Be responsible for all communication between company and client Requirements: 2+ years of direct business-to-business sales experience Sales experience in the commercial, industrial or government marketplace, preferably in Maine Solar, Energy and/or Utilities industry experience a plus Comprehensive understanding of business development process. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to build rapport with customers Able to work effectively with minimal supervision Reliable transportation
