corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work
schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates
must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is

employer-sponsored visa support. Job Overview: The Merchandising
Intern provides analytical and operational support to the
Merchandising team while gaining hands-on experience in inventory
planning, forecasting, and pricing strategy. This role offers
exposure to merchandise financial planning processes including
SKU-level analysis, inventory insights, and cross-functional
collaboration. During the internship, the intern will support
initiatives focused on improving markdown processes, analyzing
inventory performance, and providing deeper insights into
merchandise planning. The intern will work closely with inventory
planners and category directors to analyze data, build reporting
tools, and help support data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities: Markdown & Pricing Analysis Assist in building
and supporting a sustainable process for markdowns and price
reductions across cross-functional teams Help develop process
documentation, tools, and reporting to support pricing and
promotional strategies Support collaboration between merchandising,
planning, and other teams involved in pricing decisions Merchandise
Financial Planning Support Provide analytical support for
merchandise financial planning initiatives Assist with deeper
SKU-level analysis across both D100 and D200 product categories
Support inventory and sales analysis to provide insights for
category directors and inventory planners Data Analysis &
Forecasting Build and maintain reports using Excel and SQL to
support forecasting and merchandise planning Analyze trends in
sales, inventory performance, and pricing strategies Identify
opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and planning
efficiency Reporting & Business Insights Develop reports,
dashboards, and analytical tools to support merchandising decisions
Summarize findings and insights for team members and leadership
Assist with preparing materials for planning meetings and business
reviews Merchandising Projects & General Support Participate in
merchandising and financial planning projects focused on process
improvement Conduct research and analysis to support planning
initiatives Provide general analytical and administrative support
to the merchandising and planning teams Qualifications: Currently
pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business,
Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, with an
expected graduation date within the next year Advanced Microsoft
Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros
Experience with SQL or data analysis tools preferred Exposure to
forecasting, financial planning, or inventory planning concepts is
a plus Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving
skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to communicate insights to team members and leadership
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage
multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Internship Details:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Duration: 4 months
