Job Title:Business Controls Testing IT SR AnalystLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:Western Alliance is seeking Business Control IT Sr. Analyst. This role is aligned with the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) team and is accountable for implementing a consistent, sustainable, and timely RCSA program Enterprise wide. This includes inherent risk identification, control identification, residual risk assessment, and risk treatment plans.What we are looking for: The successful candidate will be a motivated team player who has expertise in Technology and cybersecurity risk and control oversight; a self-starter who is accustomed to working in fast-paced, complex, evolving organizations with diverse stakeholders; and an agile individual who is able to withstand challenges and adapt quickly with an execution mindset.

• Risk and Control Self Assessments Technology and cybersecurity (RCSAs) Build, maintain, and refresh RCSAs for significant business processes, including:
• Development of process flows and process narratives
• Risk and control analysis.
• Identifying gaps or limitations within processes and systems
• Keep HR apprised of potential changes in inherent risk or control breakdowns/ deficiencies that could impact residual risk.
• Act as a trusted advisor on operational risk issues, including risk identification associated with EPMO projects, ongoing processes, and emerging risks.
• Assist in quarterly assessments of operational risk related to other processes e.g., internal operational risk reports, risk appetite statements, and control testing.
• Defend risk assessments with stakeholders and assist in coordinating requests and responses during Internal Audits and bank regulatory exams.
• Provide oversight and guidance on key strategic Technology initiatives and assess the impact of these initiatives on the company's control environment.
• Serve as Technology and Cybersecurity Risk Subject Matter Expert on Management Risk Committees and/or Working Groups.
• Participate in forums with business stakeholders to ensure ongoing risk coverage and oversight
• Ensures accuracy and timeliness for operational risk event reportingMinimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Compliance, Operations Management, Audit, Risk Management, or related field
  • Experience in Technology, cybersecurity, or technology risk management disciplines
  • Expertise in technology risk and controls, industry best practices, and application frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and COBIT
  • Broad understanding of Technology best practices in an enterprise setting
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are a plusCompensation Information:The salary range for new hires in Nevada is generally $96,420.00 - $119,194.00, the salary range for Southern CA is generally $109,436.00 - $135,186.00, and the salary range for Northern CA is generally $117,632.00 - $145,310.00. Salary is determined by specific job location.
