About the Position
As an Electronics Test Technician with FlexTrades, you will work for clients who manufacture a variety of goods, products, components and assemblies for the surveillance, voice and data recorders, collision avoidance systems, navigation products, display systems and processors for commercial and military avionics industries, among many others.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Test, troubleshoot, and basic repair of electronic and electromechanical assembles per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards
- Perform test assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed and adapt standard procedures and/or equipment
- Assist in training other technicians and provide guidance in following procedures, using equipment and troubleshooting difficult problems.
- Determine technical accuracy, operation, and proper sequencing of test procedures
- Provide technical support to customers
- Provide technical reports consisting of relevant test procedures and results
- Perform and document tests in accordance with test procedures
- Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the component and subassembly level for the majority of customers and their products
- Solder various components to PCB Assemblies
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
