JOB SUMMARY
This job supports the investigation of the strategic, operational
and business needs of their assigned projects, focusing on detailed
business process analysis and modeling, and the engineering of
effective business process solutions. This position also supports
the activities of project teams in the re-engineering and
improvement of existing business processes and the deployment of
the solution and the associated standards and techniques to the
project teams.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist or lead assigned projects in defining business, operational
and functional requirements to support delivery of the operating
verticals strategy its contribution to the corporate strategy.
Provide comprehensive business process analysis and measurement to
assigned projects, and modeling and design support to assigned
operating divisions.
Provide consultative support to Project Teams; support the
development of skills within the resource pool; support the
expansion and development of business process engineering skills
across the enterprise, promoting the understanding and use of the
solution; and support the ongoing development of the solution,
integrating and remaining current with industry best practices.
Utilize process improvement methodology including process
improvement methodologies.
Support the development of re-usable artifacts for use in the BPM
lifecycle.
Provide periodic reporting to leadership on assigned project
activities and support planning of the migration to the Future
State of the organization.

Required
3 years of relevant, progressive experience in the area of
specialization (exempted experience requirements effective August
2016)
Experience in Business Administration, Health Service
Administration, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering
Experience in an exempt level business analyst or project
management role
Health/dental insurance industry knowledge including data analysis,
business operations, marketing, and industry issues
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products,
including Access, Excel, Word, Websphere Business Modeler, and
PowerPoint

Pay Range Minimum:
$50,200.00
Pay Range Maximum:
$90,300.00
Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a
candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions,
as well as internal peer equity, market, and business
considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any
geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations
based upon comparative markets.
