Description
We are hiring a Human Resources Consultant to join our expanding organization, working out of our US corporate office in north, central Phoenix.
This individual will provide HR support to our growing US workforce of 450+ employees, in areas including benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, and employee programs.
What you'd be responsible for

  • Build relationships with employees and management to serve as a trusted advisor on a variety of HR matters, while positively influencing the work environment.
  • Administer and coordinate the hiring process including recruiting, selection and screening, developing interview questions, offer development and negotiation, and supporting hiring managers throughout the hiring process as needed to support the Talent Acquisition.
  • Benefit administration including, benefit system management, assisting employees with new hire benefit enrollment, inquiries and benefit issues, Qualifying Life Events while also supporting benefit orientation and open enrollment sessions.
  • Provide employee relations support to managers including advising on employee counseling and discipline.
  • Assist with annual pay increase cycle and performance appraisal program.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and agencies.
  • Assist in development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
  • Assist with employee projects and committees to develop programs to help employees feel fully engaged and valued such as; the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program, Wellness program, and other initiatives.
  • Periodic travel to facilities in the Phoenix metro area, as well as occasional overnight travel to other locations in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. What's required to be successful
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of professional HR experience in recruiting, benefits administration, and employee relations.
    • Working knowledge of all HR areas including employment and labor laws, EEO, HIPPA, FMLA, training, and employee relations.
    • Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and related software. Oracle experience desirable.
    • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills. Other important facts about this job
