    Location: Cerritos, CA
    The preferred locations for this position are Cerritos, CA
    Will consider highly qualified candidates from other locations. This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model and is eligible for a remote work schedule.
    Responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects.
    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Work with Epic Program Managers, directors, clinical partners, providers, and other analyst to understand requirements, configure, build and implement Epic EMR system from ground up.
      
      
    • 
      Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
      
      
    • 
      Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.
      
      
    • 
      Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
      
      
    • 
      Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.
      
      
    • 
      In depth knowledge of tools utilized.
      
      
    • 
      Defines detail design components with high level architecture blueprints.
      
      
    • 
      Coordinates integration activities to ensure successful implementation.
      
      
    • 
      Ensures effective monitoring of systems.
      
      
    • 
      Defines development strategy, standards and support tools.
      
      
    • 
      Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
      
      
      Minimum Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
        
        Preferred Qualifications:
        
        • 
          
        • 
          Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst certifications strongly preferred.
          
          
        • 
          2 - 3 years of Epic Analyst experience.
          
          
        • 
          Experience in working with Epic EMR on outpatient clinical systems including EpicCare Ambulatory EHR, Urgent Care, EpicCare Link, Haiku, Secure Chat, Epic Video Client, HIM, Identify MPI, Dorothy Home Care, Healthy Planet, Healthy Planet Link, Compass Rose Comprehensive Care Coordination, & CRM - Campaigns, Cadence Enterprise Scheduling & Prelude Registration inc, CRM - Call Management, Patient Experience (MyChart Patient Experience Platform, Welcome Patient Kiosk, & MyChart Care Companion)
          
          
        • 
          Experience with mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems and the impacts of changes in the systems stream, testing/product quality processes, tools and methods strongly preferred.
          
          
        • 
          Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process improvement training strongly preferred.
          
          
        • 
          Work with Epic Program Managers, directors, clinical partners, providers and other analyst to understand requirements, configure, build and implement Epic EMR system from ground up.
          
          
        • 
          Certification Preferred: Cadence & Prelude or EpicCare Ambulatory (Orders, Mychart, Care Everywhere) or Healthy planet
          
          
          For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 94,320 to $188,640
          Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
