Director, Field Inventory Logistics page is loaded Director, Field Inventory Logistics Apply locations USA, Arizona, Phoenix time type Full time posted on Posted 9 Days Ago job requisition id R0023094 Job Description: The Director, Field Inventory Logistics will lead all commercial inventory planning activities & be accountable for proper deployment that maximizes the utilization of all trays & sets in the field across all consigned locations for the Foot & Ankle business unit. The Director will lead & develop the team to be best in class - driving standard work & continuous improvement across the team & sites as we grow. They will support rolling out an effective Demand Planning & S&OP process for the organization that will work collaboratively across the business to improve our overall effectiveness & customer experience - especially as it relates to set deployment in the field. They will drive the team to manage effectively & efficiently all frontend & backend field inventory logistics needs for all sites and all brands to include - planning, organizing, and controlling all receiving, processing of returned inventory, Loaner management and fulfillment, and field inventory activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of our customers are consistently being met by exceeding the team's KPIs. - Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need. -

• Drive & manage an effective Field Inventory Logistics team that is strategic in our set utilization process by increasing our turns by product line across the business unit & supporting our commercial teams in maximizing our revenue growth.
• Manage, mentor, and lead all employees within the team to achieve desired performance results, exceptional customer service & employee engagement.
• Support S&OP implementation across the F&A business & analytics to support continuous improvement & execution of the process. -
• Create & drive key performance indicators for the team that create an environment for success & focus on EGX continuous improvement factors across the team.
• Drives an effective field inventory audit program that has minimal disruption to the field & yields less than 20% financial scrap accrual each year.
• Conducts regular team meetings to determine progress on projects and required tasks.
  • Manages & supports all frontend field inventory activities to include but not limited to:
    • Receiving customer requests by phone/fax/email, analyze requests, provide information requested or route request to proper person.
    • Support optimizing Loaner inventory levels to meet existing and forecasted demand.
    • Providing troubleshooting assistance on lot issues or other issues that may arise.
    • Maintaining, organizing or optimizing various customer and Loaner related files.
    • Support management and analysis of additional field inventory requests as needed.
    • Manage & support all backend field inventory activities to include but not limited to:
      • Receiving customer requests by phone/fax/email, analyze requests, provide information requested or route request to proper person.
      • Support optimizing Loaner inventory levels to meet existing and forecasted demand.
      • Providing troubleshooting assistance on lot issues or other issues that may arise.
      • Maintaining, organizing or optimizing various customer and Loaner related files.
        • Creates, drives & maintains standard work & SOPs for the teams across all processes.
        • Participate in quality control/assurance related activities as needed.
        • Anticipate needs of internal and external customers & coordinate with them to find solutions to problems efficiently.
        • Ensure a positive customer experience by exhibiting a helpful and team-oriented attitude towards customers and employees across all team members.Education, Training, and ExperienceThe following are the minimum qualifications that an individual will need to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. -
          • Undergraduate degree required and ten years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
          • Willing to travel extensively to other Enovis sites - 25-50% of the time or relocate to Houston site.
          • MBA or Master's degree preferred
          • Previous work experience in a senior level inventory management position desired
          • Previous work experience in a customer-facing position desired
          • Must have strong Microsoft Excel & analytical skills
          • ERP experience required. NetSuite, Oracle, SAP preferred.
          • Ability to articulate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
          • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with little supervision.
          • Must have legible handwriting.
          • Ability to maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of customer/employee records.
          • Ability to operate a computer and other general office equipment.
          • Must have advanced mathematical skills. Physical Demands
