Elevation Solar is looking for an organized and motivated Solar Inspection Technician for our Solar Operations department. The Solar Inspection Technician will perform a wide variety of electrical operations duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care to his/her craftsmanship.

*Essential Duties & Responsibilities*

* Prep completed installations for final inspection by the local building departments
* Develop positive working relationships with city inspectors
* Schedule and meet with local departments for final inspections
* Meet and communicate with homeowners about final inspection timelines
* Commission solar monitoring systems
* Complete basic electrical configurations
* Troubleshoot systems

*Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)*

* M-F with some weekend work as needed
* Additional hours are based on the manager's requirements

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* 3 years of experience in residential solar and electrical
* Knowledge of solar industry and NEC code
* Ability to work independently and with minimal direction/oversight
* Valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record
* Must be authorized to work in the United States

* Strong time management skills and strong attention to detail
* Strong commitment to a successful customer experience
* Good problem-solving skills
* Willingness to find answers to field issues and communicate them effectively
* Ability to prioritize work and work under sensitive time restraints
* Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills

*Physical Requirements:*

* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistently
* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistently
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
* Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone
* Must be able to climb ladders and stairs regularly, and be comfortable with heights of at least 20 feet and walking on all roof types
* Able to work in various weather conditions and in extreme temperatures
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
