JOB SUMMARY:
GRADE 20
The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry
(ADCRR) is seeking a talented and professional Human Resources
Specialist who is detailed, thorough and a perfectionist when it
comes to interpreting and analyzing data! This position is
responsible for a number of diverse and technical processes;
including administrative duties supporting the Human Resources
Development Group (HRDG), which is comprised of the Recruitment, HR
Operations, Benefits, Classification & Compensation, Employee
Relations and Training Units.

JOB DUTIES:
--- Creates and ensures Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) are
produced accurately and in compliance with the Arizona Department
of Administration (ADOA) Personnel Rules and ADCRR policy for all
aspects of Human Resources within HRDG
--- Maintains, updates and distributes the agency's HR Actions
Signature Matrix
--- Works with the ADCRR Web Master, to design and manage the HRDG
internal web page as required
--- Assists in the development of a structured approach to
identifying and eliminating non-value added process steps and makes
recommendations to integrate Lean methods into the overall
continuous improvement strategy within HRDG
--- Creates and maintains HRDG visual management boards, metrics,
and a variety of HR reporting tools ensuring compliance with
project due dates and deadlines
--- Compiles and reviews HR forms, data, and written materials for
completeness, accuracy and adherence to HR guidelines
--- Designs, implements, and updates a variety of HR reports
ensuring material is kept current and accurate
--- Conducts various audits
--- Drives on State business
--- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
SPECIAL SELECTION FACTOR(S) - THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED:
Requires possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid
state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment.
Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's
license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records,
and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona
Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).

SELECTIVE PREFERENCE(S) - IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
--- Two (2) years of experience as a Human Resources Analyst or
equivalent experience
--- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related
field
--- Experience working with Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and pivot
tables

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State
