Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.What You'll Do: The main responsibilities of the position include: monitoring transactions and managing the fraud analytics tools as part of the e-commerce payment gateway with the goal of minimizing fraud and maximizing legitimate transactions.GENERAL SUMMARY:The Corporate Treasury team is responsible for managing cash & short-term investments, liquidity, debt and the organization's e-commerce gateway platform.The Treasury Business Analyst reports to the Director of Merchant Services.The main responsibilities of the position include: monitoring transactions and managing the fraud analytics tools as part of the e-commerce payment gateway with the goal of minimizing fraud and maximizing legitimate transactions.The analyst will be the subject matter expert in the identification of unusual and/or potentially fraudulent activity; the in-house expert in using the fraud analytic tools; the primary resource for donations and training services staff fraud inquiries; training employees to understand and use fraud analytics tools.The Treasury Business Analyst will also serve as a secondary backup for the daily cash desk. The cash desk ensures accounts are adequately funded, executes overnight investments and reports the ending daily cash position.Further, the Treasury Analyst will assist with a variety of projects to support the Treasury team, in general, and the Director of Merchants Services, specifically; improve current processes when possible and gain knowledge of overall treasury operations.

  • Work closely with PayPal's fraud management team to ensure the Fraud Analytics platform is providing effective defense and addressing current issues, especially BOT attacks.
  • Apply business expertise to identify fraud risk and recommend strategies to mitigate such.
  • Recommend and test changes to fraud rules for incoming payments for the purpose of increasing the acceptance rate without increasing risk; rerun prior transactions to test the efficacy of the proposed rule changes.
  • Conduct due diligence, evaluate the circumstances, collaborate with the senior fraud investigator and recommend appropriate actions for cases of potential fraud; escalate as necessary.
    • Draw upon expertise of personnel from other departments when researching fraud and provide support and evidence to the Red Cross Office of Ethics and Compliance, as appropriate.
    • Manage e-commerce dashboard - Fraud Protection Advanced - which reports metrics and identifies trends.
    • In conjunction with users' managers and the IT help desk, regulate user access to the Braintree console including additions, changes and terminations; regularly review user population and disable access of those no longer with ARC
    • Work closely with internal and external partners and third-party service providers to assist in processing suspected fraud and chargebacks.
    • With the assistance of internal staff and PayPal fraud experts, develop and maintain policy and procedures for handling disputes and fraud claims throughout the entire transaction cycle.Other Treasury Duties
      • Develop strategies for improving and leveraging e-commerce systems within Treasury applications.
      • Learn the daily cash desk and act as back-up when necessary. The function of the cash desk, among other things, is to ensure accounts are adequately funded, execute overnight investments and report daily on cash position and end-of-day account balances
      • Other treasury duties as assigned by management, including assisting with budget preparation and monthly reconciliation to general ledger.What We Need From You:
        • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting,
        • A minimum of 4 years experience in financial management and analysis.
        • CPA or Data Science certification is preferred but not required
        • Strong skills with various Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) are essential.Experience using Power BI is also required.
        • Experience using large scale automated financial systems (such as Oracle), planning tools (such as Hyperion), data warehouse and query tools (such as Business Objects/Webi) desired but not required.
