Job Description:

SUMMARY Perform a wide variety of operations to assemble and build electrical and mechanical subassemblies and final products. Plan, layout and perform wiring and floor assembly, installation of electrical / electronic controls, panels and components for various types and sizes of complex products to achieve daily build schedule and meet or exceed quality / performance targets. Ability to read wiring diagrams, layout components from engineering plans/drawings and complete point-to-point wiring. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Install electrical / electronic components and hardware in Experience with soldering and the use of crimping hand tools PLC, motor control and point-to-point wiring experience Point-to-point inspection Troubleshoot system operation as required based on customer requirements Install, repair, and replace electro-mechanical components and assemblies Recommend improvement in quality or production standards to achieve optimum performance Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, understand the scope-of-work Visually inspect work performed for quality, cosmetics, workmanship and conformance to drawings Verify proper revision levels on job routers, BOM's and drawings Ability to redline documentation to represent as-built condition Ability to lead and train other employees Performs other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Values meaningful, long-standing relationships High degree of electro-mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and engineering drawings Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills and ability to perform to complex requirements Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment Ability to work in a team environment Excellent problem solving ability Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and off-shift hours to support company requirements as needed Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products needed Valid driver's license EDUCATION High school diploma required; Associates degree in a technical field preferred EXPERIENCE A minimum 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment as an electro-mechanical or similar technician; field service experience is a plusJob Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $21.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insuranceSchedule: 8 hour shiftExperience: Semiconductor: 1 year (Preferred) Electromechanical: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
