existing P&C Pricing Modernization efforts. The P&C Pricing
Modernization team works with both Data Modernization and Policy
Modernization to ensure that the tools/data being developed are
designed appropriately for the needs of P&C Pricing. This role
will work as a part of this team to set up our Earnix Price-It
rating environment, develop/validate requirements, develop
modernized processes, and implement Pricing Modernization
capabilities.Coordinates, prepares and performs actuarial analyses
required to develop new products, project future results, reprice
existing products, and/or determine financial strength. Under
minimal supervision, performs moderately complex work assignments
and problem resolution.Job Requirements
- Acquires and applies developing knowledge of the business, its
products, and processes.
- Utilizes actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation,
and/or risk management.
- Enters data and tables, runs models, and generates
- May make adjustments and improvements to models, when
- Maintains proper price level, price structure, data
availability and other requirements to achieve profitability and
- Identifies critical experience areas to monitor and suggest
timely remedies to correct or prevent unfavorable trends.
- Identifies sources of gain and loss by product and
- Resolve issues and identifies appropriate issues for
- Bachelor's degree. 4 additional years of
Actuarial/business/analytical experience beyond the minimum
required may be substituted in lieu of a Degree .
- 2 or more years Actuarial/business/analytical experience plus 3
completed CAS exams.Preferred Experience:
- Strong programming skills (Python, R, VBA).
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g. SAS,
SQL, Tableau, R, Python).
- Knowledge of industry pricing software such as Earnix.
- Understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).The

process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure
we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based
on your experience and market position. The salary range for this
position is: $66,300 - $119,500* (this does not include geographic
differential it may be applied based on your work
location).Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on
overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion
of the USAA Board of Directors. Shift premium: will be addressed on
an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently
