Join us and make a difference.As a member of the Maintenance team, the intern will work directly with team members to maintain Critical Utility systems, Manufacturing equipment, and Manufacturing control systems to support seamless delivery of critical oncology medicines to patients. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing and the critical role of maintenance in ongoing operations, as well as planning and building of new, industry-leading biologics manufacturing capabilities.The full time internship will take place June - August 2023.Key Responsibilities:Executes preventative, predictive, and on demand maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment to ensure reliability and equipment optimization.Repairs equipment that is not functioning properly.Uses analytical troubleshootingSupports new installations and other tasks as neededCommunicates with internal customers and leaders daily.Follows strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure quality, compliant maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner and aligned to cGMP requirementsDocuments all repairs electronically in a clear concise manner free of errors.Qualifications & Experience:Enrolled in a technical degree or industry recognized certification program focused on control systemsHS diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledge of maintenance shop tools: (Ex. Drills, band saw, presses, and precision measuring devices).Some knowledge of plant utility systems including high pressure steam, heating, water systems generation and distribution, ventilating and air conditioning.Some knowledge of power transfer technology including mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Basic knowledge of machine controls including programmable logic controllers, relay logic, and operator interfaces, and metal work including welding and machiningBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Basic knowledge OSHA, and ADEQ regulations, additional basic knowledge of cGMP preferredSkilled in organization, time management, flexibility and the ability to multi-task.Demonstrated problem solving ability, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and oral and written communication skills.BMSEC, BMSINTERNAround the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
