Our Position

The Employee Relations Specialist will consult on employee relations and provide recommendations to develop strategies in support of the company objectives. The Employee Relations Specialist will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, policy interpretation and application, performance management, investigations and exit interviews. In this key role, the Employee Experience Specialist will work collaboratively across the HR department and with leaders in their region to deliver a positive employee experience.

    • Responsible for processing payroll for exempt and non-exempts in an accurate and timely
    • Processes payroll adjustments, hours/wage variances, garnishments, manual computation of gross and net pay, vacation pay,bonuses, manual checks, mileage expenses, and continuing education reimbursements.
    • Set up stipends and allowances.
    • Prepares termination payouts in accordance with state and/or federal laws.
    • Create strong partnerships with hiring managers to identify/fulfill staffing needs with a high level of customer focus.
    • Establish and update procedure documentation for all payroll processes.
    • Continuously evaluate and suggest/implement improvements to payroll processes.
    • Resolve both routine and non-routine payroll problems.
    • Assists with processing employee changes including but not limited to tax withholdings, direct deposits, PTO accruals and/orleave of absence activities.
    • Prepares various reports in support of payroll process to include regular reporting and ad hoc reporting.
    • Assists with various audits, as requested, i.e., annual 401(k).
    • Maintains payroll files.
    • Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict ofInterest Policies.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.Our Requirements

      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
      • Detailed oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
      • Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
      • Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 20lbs.
      • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
