Job Description:

Scrub Techs needed for one of the best hospitals in Arizona. This is a great opportunity to work with a well known Phoenix area hospital that offers many services, including general services, bariatric services, and orthopedic services. The hospital is dedicated to delivering high quality and compassionate care to their patients. You will be working with some of the best surgeons and medical staff in the area. Ideal candidate: Would be licensed and accredited by the joint commission. Would have at least 2 years of OR experience Would have a good amount of knowledge in Orthopedic (sports, total joints and fractures), spine experience would be a plus Job Description: Under the supervision of the Manager of Perioperative and OR charge nurse, the Surgical Tech will:

• Be responsible for providing surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competence.
• Ensure sterility of all supplies and instruments during set up of surgical procedures.
• Assist circulating nurse in gathering necessary surgical supplies and equipment. Is responsible for doing sponge, needle, and instrument count pre-operatively and intra-operative with the circulating nurse.
• Transport all surgical equipment to appropriate cleaning areas. Assist in sterile supply with cleaning and reprocessing of instrument sets as needed Offered:
