Learn from the best to develop skills for a career in field leadership! Join our growing 50-person team in Phoenix under the leadership of a proven 20-year McShane veteran. We are seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent for mid-rise and garden-style apartments, affordable housing, senior living, student housing, and/or hospitality projects. The individual will work with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

- - Coordinate the efforts of multiple trades.
- - Conduct project inspections and complete daily reports.
- - Assist with project schedule, monitoring progress of work, and notifying Superintendent of any delays.
- - Coordinate with City officials.
- - Review project punchlist and oversee completion of all project disciplines.
Requirements

- - 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent, preferably in multi-family and/or hospitality construction.
- - College education a plus.
- - Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, safety, methods, etc.).
- - Knowledge of the local market preferred.
- - Strong management skills and ability to work productively with others and foster solid client relationships.
- - Ability to identify, investigate and quantify project problems and corresponding alternatives and consequences.
- - Effective oral and written communications.
- - Ability to use construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
- - Ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
