**Whats a typical day as an accounts payable specialist? Youll be:**
+ Matching purchase orders and receipts to vendor invoices
+ Coding and charging expenses to multiple branches, cost centers, GL accounts by analyzing invoices/expense reports and updating entries
+ Processing invoices for vendors by resolving purchase order discrepancies, coding expenses, obtaining, and documenting appropriate approvals, reviewing contracts, invoices, inventory discrepancies, payment discrepancies and documentation.
+ Ensuring credits are received for outstanding memos, monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal ID numbers
+ Scheduling and preparing checks for payment
+ Receiving and verifying employee expense reports for reimbursement
+ Verifying vendor accounts by thoroughly reconciling monthly statements
+ Working closely with external vendors, internal departments and team members
**Requirements**
+ 2+ years accounts payable experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
+ Paperless accounts payable experience
+ Microsoft Office Suite experience, specifically with Excel
+ Will be working with large shared spreadsheets -- must have v-lookup proficiency
+ The ability to work in a large team focused environment
+ The ability and willingness to work on-site 100%
