Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking a dynamic
individual with proven experience in patient & client care to join
our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. The goal of the Patient
Care Coordinator is to cultivate, develop, and advance unique
relationships with the referral community and potential referral
base (rDVM), as well as maintain internal invoices/client
relationships of hospitalized pets & specialty services. VCA Valley
Animal Hospital & Emergency Center features a knowledgeable and
caring support staff, and talented ER team, and a management team
dedicated to delivering the highest quality patient care and
exceptional client service. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with
Hospital Leadership on referral base status and strategy in order
to build preference and increase referral revenue. Prioritize,
schedule, and track rDVM interactions and account for progress with
data analysis. Represent the VCA Brand professionally and
knowledgeably. Daily charge capture for all hospitalized pets,
daily updates to pet owners in coordination with Staff Doctors as
well as coordination with Staff Doctors on preparation of client
facing materials, i.e., discharges, etc. Review/Auditing of all
closed invoices and medical charts, working under the guidance of
the Hospital Operations Director Working with the Hospital
Operations Director, fulfill rDVM marketing needs to streamline
referral. Prioritize, develop and deliver timely marketing
materials and digital communications for VCA Valley Animal Hospital
& Emergency Center to referral community. Work directly with
clients via presentation of treatment plans and collect funds from
clients as needed. Assist Hospital Operations Director to maintain
hospital website and social pages with timely and updated
information. The Ideal Candidate will possess the following
qualifications/qualities: Proven self starter with excellent
time-management skills and a solutions-oriented work ethic. Ability
to communicate clearly and effectively one-on-one and in groups.
Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, Web Content
and Social Media. Outgoing, engaging, and team-oriented attitude
with problem-solving skills. Extensive Background in Veterinary
Medicine/Veterinary Technology Required. If you are a current
