Description: TGen is searching for a top-notch, collegial
Postdoctoral Research Fellow who is interested in conducting
cutting-edge translational research.The Postdoctoral Research
Fellow will explore signaling pathways relevant to drug development
and discovery of basic mechanisms of cancer biology and novel
therapeutic targets and epigenetic and genetic prognostic
biomarkers in cancers. The fellow will be assigned projects and be
responsible for designing and performing in vitro and in vivo
experiments, collecting and analyzing data, writing grants,
publications, and disseminating findings.Applicants must possess a
relevant PhD in Cancer Biology or Molecular Biology or a related
field of study. The applicant should be experienced in conducting
research, publishing journal manuscripts, presenting research at
conferences, and advanced quantitative data analyses. The
successful applicant should also be able to work collaboratively,
supervise the works of others and act as a team leader as required.
In vivo experience including working with mouse models,
transplantation, injection (IP, IV, oral gavage, retro orbital) and
flow cytometry analysis is a plus. The successful applicant will
also coordinate work with colleagues at City of Hope Cancer Center,
in Duarte, CA and will be required to travel there on occasion for
training, performing experiments and presentation of findings.Why
