Job Description
The Accountant II, TGen Foundation will manage the daily operational workflow to ensure all philanthropic revenue is processed according to current policies, procedures, GAAP and IRS guidelines and is responsible for proper accounting for donations and pledges via monthly journal entries as part of month end close. In addition, the Accountant II will,
- Coordinate and help prepare the Foundation budget and track variances
- Maintain restricted fund reconciliation and provide information about these funds to Finance on a regular schedule
- Monitor collections in accordance with policies
- Research and correct historical gift and pledge entries in Access Hope (Blackbaud CRM)
- Prepare and present financial reports to leadership or other stakeholders
- Analyze and interpret financial data
- Train Foundation staff
- Participate as an audit team member
- Assist with preparation of check requests, purchase orders, and invoice processing

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and three or more years of experience in Accounting, with a strong preference for non-profit accounting experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
