an addition to the team, to help lead the team and expand the
quality and variety of service offering providing by the HR
organization. You are joining a four-person HR team: Sr. HR
Business Partner, People Operations Specialist, Benefits & Wellness
Administrator and VPHR/C-suite HRBP. How will you help the TGen HR
team grow?We are looking for a driver, somebody who wants to make
an impact and get things done. Your experience and expertise in the
areas of business partnering, talent management, compensation
strategy and talent acquisition will complement and bolster the
team.How you will grow?This role is unique. Large organizations
have business partners who reach into technical experts in their
area of expertise. At TGen, our HR Partners own the relationships
with their research/business units AND are expected to own and be a
technical expert in one of the HR functional areas. This allows the
incumbent to grow their technical mastery and sharpen their
leadership skills as they will be the SME for our team in that
function. Where you will contribute as an HR Partner---Your role
will be a combination of strategic HR and tactical execution of
full-cycle talent management. The units you will support will be a
combination of TGen research and operations units and our current
and future commercial subsidiaries (think startups). Below are some
of the typical responsibilities:Talent AcquisitionProvide staffing
support to leadership for filling vacant positions. To do this you
will: a) understand the growth plans b) help create position
descriptions c) create and execute the sourcing strategy that
provides a diverse pool of qualified applicants d) screen and
interview e) extend and negotiate offers.Provide counsel to hiring
managers, helping select the best candidate to fit the position and
culture of the organization.Compensation StrategyFor the commercial
subsidiaries, this HR Partner will need to think outside of how
TGen does compensation and ensure these commercial startups are
attracting and retaining great talent. Talent Management and
Employee RelationsProvide mentorship and training to management
around best practices of all facets of talent management including
talent acquisition, onboarding, talent and performance management,
harassment and other compliance considerations, and terminations.
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations
issues. Stay abreast of relevant employment laws. Work with
appropriate legal counsel when necessary. Performance Management
and Goal SettingOwn the performance management process and annual
leadership goal setting process. Employee AdvocacyConstantly be
thinking about how to make the employee experience better. Be a
day-to-day resource to employees regarding questions about HR
policies and programs. Other Responsibilities Participation in any
one of our volunteer-driven groups that focus on the employee
experience and culture: Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council,
Culture Committee, TGen's Wellness Committee, or 20th Anniversary
Celebration Crew. Job Description development and maintenance.
Assist in exploiting the Paylocity HCM technology platform to
improve the employee experience and talent management processes.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting
regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures
policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.Assist in
maintaining records of a personnel transactions such as hires,
promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations. Other
job-related duties that may arise.
Requirements:
This is position can work full hybrid or fully on site. There is no
vaccination requirement for this position. Required Skills,
Experience and EducationBachelor's Degree in related field and at
least 3 years of professional-level HR experience is required.
Experience with MS Office products like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
is required. G-Suite experience is highly desirable. Experience
leveraging social platforms in support of employer brand
communication and talent acquisition is highly desirable.
Experience in any HCM/payroll system (like Paylocity, ADP, Oracle,
Peoplesoft, etc.) is required.Paylocity is highly preferred. PHR or
SHRM-CP certification is a plus. International experience is a
plus.Spanish communication skills are a plus. You are:-
