Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) -We are seeking a seasoned Project coordinator for the integration team within Optum technology! You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete tasks identified in the project plan and influence others to do the same in support of the Integration Leads, Engagement Managers, and overall project team members
  • Provide input to the Project Plan and recommendations to the team regarding tasks, effort durations and resources needed to successfully complete project objectives
  • Identify problems, offer possible solutions, and escalate to the team or other appropriate parties any issues putting project success at risk
  • Collect and consolidate status from team members, identify and maintain project risks and issues log, and prepare status reports and key metrics
  • Facilitate meetings as needed to complete assigned work or in-place of Integration Lead
  • Drive capture and detailed tracking of all key data elements (site surveys, remediation efforts, hardware and related equipment order details, vendor needs and status, etc.) needed by project team members to ensure tasks are completed and milestones met
  • Act as a primary point of contact for work intake, organization and prioritization for broader team as well as internal and external partners
  • Develop workflows and process documentation for existing processes, identify needs for establishing new processes where project execution requires it and none exists You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience working in positions that require strong administrative, organizational and follow-up skills
    • 4+ years pf experience supporting IT projects, preferably IT Infrastructure related
    • 1+ years of Insurance industry experience and working knowledge with Network Integrations
    • Willing and able to apply skills, experience, and common sense to solve problems
    • Comfortable attempting to influence others over whom they do not have direct authority and confident interacting with members of management other than their direct manager
    • Able to pivot, change focus and direction in response to changing business needs. Remains effective and productive when priorities change unexpectedly
    • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, TEAMS and Sharepoint
    • Ability to travel 25%
    • BS/BS College degree or 8 years of related and equivalent experience

The salary -range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
