as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and manage architectural blueprints that describe the
strategy, business outcomes, capabilities, services, processes,
information, and data that together will realize our Payer vision,
goals, and strategic objectives
- Work with senior business and technology leaders to develop,
recommend, and execute strategic and tactical business and
technology architecture roadmaps
- Lead and facilitate architecture assessments and reviews during
business ideation, discovery, and program / project execution to
ensure alignment with business goals and strategies. Identify gaps
and opportunities and recommend business and technology
solutions
- Build end-to-end solution plans that define the ideal and
future state systems solution, scope of solution initiatives,
solution delivery sequencing through architecture transition
states, and assumptions and risks
- Analyze and evaluate current technology environment to detect
critical deficiencies (architecture optimization, maintain PADU
balance of ecosystem, modernization) and collaborating with
Enterprise Architecture from other lines of business and
development team architects to recommend solutions for
improvement
- Ensure capital programs stay aligned to Enterprise strategy
while leveraging existing components and capabilities across the
business segment landscape
- Provide in-depth solution architecture support during program /
platform / product solution analysis and design to ensure roadmap
alignment
- Champion assigned application architecture through any
governance gates and collaborate with quality teams to drive
continuous improvement for technology solutions
- Increase speed to market, speed of innovation
- Reuse existing corporate and business unit product capabilities
where they fit
- Identify and use applicable architecture patterns, structures,
and standards
- Work ahead of the development teams to ensure development teams
have a solid design in place and a good understanding of the
technical solution when it is time to build it You'll be rewarded

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or
related field
- Microsoft Certification(s) or appropriate technology specialist
certification
- Experience with healthcare platforms and business
operations
- Experience across multiple IT technology areas
- Experience with infrastructure technology (server/storage,
database, network, telephony)
- Experience with cloud technology (Amazon, Microsoft)
- Experience with architecture tools ( Enterprise Architect) and
standards (TOGAF) Preferred Qualifications:

Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100
to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is
$90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such
