Description:
This position for an individual with transactional experience is a
full position with an opportunity to work with a dynamic group of
attorneys and staff and be responsible for preparing, drafting and
reviewing contracts. Other responsibilities include, without
limitation, advising, communicating and working with legal,
management, administrative and scientific personnel and others as
needed, both internally within the company and externally with
outside parties.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe primary
responsibilities are:-- Drafting, preparing and reviewing a variety
of contracts and related documents, including without limitation,
contracts related to intellectual property, licensing, software and
other information technology, industry and academic collaborations,
research and development, confidentiality, materials transfer,
consulting, leases, technology transfer, and services contracts and
statements of work-- Assessing incoming contract requests for
completeness and working with legal, scientific, administrative,
management and other personnel at TGen to obtain any additional
required information-- Gather, assess, review and summarize
information for various contracts and projects-- Supporting
negotiation of contracts while interacting with internal teams and
external counsel or parties-- Providing advice and support as
needed-- Working with legal team and management to facilitate
various projects -- Attending meetings as needed-- Performing such
other activities as the legal department may requestAbout TGen, an

Requirements:
A person in this role must have excellent drafting skills and great
attention to detail, be highly organized, and be able to
effectively track and manage multiple projects and directives,
often involving multiple internal and external parties, meet
deadlines, conduct technical research. Must be proactive, work well
independently, and have excellent communication skills. Technical
or scientific knowledge or experience is a plus.The ideal candidate
will be articulate, highly motivated, and enjoy working with a
variety of agreements and projects, including those involving
