Account Services Specialist II

Overview of Position The Account Services Specialist will work with customers and internal staff to accurately process projects as assigned, in a timely manner. Responsible for client satisfaction of an assigned client base. This person is the point of contact for these clients; which involves resolving questions or issues and making needed changes.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

+ Responsible for maintaining support for high level, specific payer accounts

+ Assign projects to internal teams

+ Listen to client questions, concerns, or problems for resolution and potential new product development, providing a high level of customer service

+ Troubleshoot and provide technical instructions by identifying and analyzing the issue

+ Ensure proper resolutions are implemented accurately to resolve the issues and are implemented within stated time frames. This pertains to issues for your client base as well as for projects assigned for other clients as needed

+ Maintains technical product knowledge to keep abreast of updates and changes to the Multi Channel Distribution System (MCDS) by continued product training

+ Responsible for maintaining obligatory requirements to meet quality system compliance e.g. follow processes and procedures as written; complete documentation accurately and in real time in the project management application

+ Participate in periodic client meetings, via the phone, to discuss current activities, client satisfaction, and potential new offerings. Adherence to security policies and procedures

+ Meet the defined Key Performance Indicator percentages and Client Satisfaction Survey percentages

+ Completion of training course provided by Change Healthcare after being hired

+ Other duties as assigned by Manager

What are the requirements needed for this position?

+ Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

+ 3+ years experience handling customer requests/issues in an IT or Healthcare environment

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

+ Experience in project management

+ Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Knowledge of Change Healthcare systems and processes

+ Experience with insurance billing

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? General Office Duties

How much should I expect to travel?

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
