McGee Air Services is looking for Station Agents

Station Agents (Ramp/Fleet) are key members of the McGee team and perform functions necessary to provide passenger service support and to turn aircraft on time, with a focus on safety and service. At any given location, Station Agents may perform above- or below-wing functions, wheelchair services, or a combination of the three.

JOB FUNCTIONS (MAY VARY ACCORDING TO LOCATION)

Below the Wing Aircraft handling and servicing

* Perform all facets of aircraft handling (e.g., Baggage, marshaling, push-back, wing-walking)
* Perform fleet functions and other servicing (e.g., cabin and overnight cleaning, lavatory, water)
* Maintain work areas and ensure the proper care of equipment
* Operate ramp equipment and other equipment such as tugs/tractors, belt loaders and forklifts
* Work outdoors with exposure to the elements and high noise levels for eight hours or more per workday

QUALIFICATIONS

* Must demonstrate safe work habits at all times
* Ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours
* Able to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays required
* Reliable and good attendance and punctuality
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
* Ability to perform work according to set procedures
* Ability to anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
* Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting required by specific work assignment
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Valid driver's license with a good driving record as required
* Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred as required by location
* Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights)
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

ADDITIONAL GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS SUMMARY

* This position requires significant physical agility and physical mobility.
* Must comfortably, frequently, continuously and within short timelines: lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.
