You'll be responsible for overall employer contract loading using various databases and/or source documents. Along the way, you'll discover the training, resources and opportunities you'd expect from a Fortune 10 leader. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Individuals need to think critically and function independently and be able to implement solutions and resolution with minimal supervision.
  • Represent OptumRx to our clients and vendors and act as a single point of contact unifying all aspects of support under the Prior Authorization capability
  • Support requirement gathering and analysis activities within and outside of direct team
  • Issue management, end-to-end (E2E) testing oversight and project documentation creation
  • Communicate and collaborate with IT, business, vendor, and client counterparts
  • Accept individual accountability to deliver client requirements and overcome potential challenges
  • Identify, diffuse, and resolve operational and organizational challenges for OptumRx clients
  • Influence and negotiate across various levels and functional areas to identify viable solutions and drive consensus that meets business objectives and operational stewardship
  • Experience supporting and interacting with both vendors and clients
  • Strong project management experience drawing on technical skill sets of how multiple systems communicate with seamless interaction
  • Participate in weekly internal and external meetings for client implementations.
  • Resolve ServiceNow requests and ServiceNow Tasks / metrics are on track (maintain zero % overdue).

    • High School Diploma (or higher)
    • Experience engaging with technology partners and business stakeholders
    • Ability to translate customer needs into system requirements and product capabilities
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Telecommuting Requirements:
      • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
      • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
      • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet servicePreferred Qualifications:
        • Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent experience

SM Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $20.77 - $36.88. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $22.93 - $40.58.
