Implements and delivers appropriate member care and nursing care
in compliance with the physicians orders and established medical
protocols, all within the nursing scope of LPN practice, and
participates in the development of treatment planning for our
members (patients). Works under the supervision of a registered
nurse (R.N.) and is responsible and accountable for the application
of nursing skills and procedures in the care of our members. All
members of our team are expected to provide services in accordance
with the Nine Guiding Principles for Recovery Oriented Adult
Behavioral Health Services and Systems.

Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current, valid LPN
license to practice in the State of Arizona required.
Two years LPN experience required; psychiatric/behavioral health
experience working with seriously mentally ill adults preferred,
but not required.
Must maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options
Must have and maintain a valid Arizona drivers license.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge, Ability, and Skills
Thorough and working knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring
disorders is imperative. Knowledge of the spectrum of mental
illnesses, DSM-5 descriptions, psychotropic medications and crisis

Must be able to work independently and with little need for
Must be able to maintain excellent member and family relationships
and provide excellent customer service.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability
to follow direction are required.
Sound judgment, problem solving skills and excellent time
management skills are essential.
Must be able to identify priorities and stay organized.
Must be competent in the use of electronic medical records
software, as well as in the use of a computer, printer, copier, and
telephone. Preferred typing skills of 25 to 40 WPM. Occasional use
of fax machines, security systems, and other office equipment.
Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software,
including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Must be able to effectively use the internet and various web
