Network Product Management Director

Location: Any Anthem office

Responsible for leading and supporting the development and implementation of complex network product solutions for a product line across the enterprise or within a multi-state environment. Leads and manages multiple network product and cost of care initiatives that may be local, within each state, across business segments and at the enterprise level and drives their execution. Develops new care models to deliver competitive solutions that support access, affordability and quality for our members.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

- Lead product life cycle management of network product portfolio.

- Lead innovative network product designs that could include High Performance Network, digital solutions, virtual network and care delivery models.

- Drive portfolio modernization and simplification efforts.

- Lead client customization network product builds that will contribute to Anthem attracting, retaining and growing business in our large or national segments.

- Partner with product managers to achieve superior execution of product and network product strategy in the marketplace.

- Identify system needs to support short and long-term network product strategy.

- Develop system requirements and ROI.

- Conduct market, network, and provider analysis and develop improvement recommendations.

- Partner with markets and segments to support the implementation of Go to Market strategy for new solutions.

- May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of complex regional and company-wide initiatives including portfolio repositioning, legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-8 years of network product management experience; program execution; network and provider analytics, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

- Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: Product Development, Market Strategy, Market Research, Network Provider analytics or Network Management.

- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships is required.

- Incumbent will be results oriented and possess the following: ability to execute, advanced analytical skills, a strategic mindset.

- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

- Network Management, Provider Solutions and/or Cost of Care experience preferred.

- MBA or MHA degree a plus, but not required.
