The role involves handling and transporting materials essential to our production line, maintaining a commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility integral to our corporate ethos. Ideal candidates will bring a robust knowledge of materials handling, inventory management, and operational safety. This position requires practical experience in forklift operation within the wood products manufacturing or similar industry, and is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and sustainable transformation of timberland resources into premier wood products. Operate forklifts and other machinery to move, stack, and retrieve wood products and materials. Manage inventory levels and conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy and availability of required materials. Ensure equipment maintenance is carried out regularly and coordinate with technicians for any necessary repairs. Adhere to all safety guidelines and standards, contributing to a safe workplace environment. Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and ensure proper handling to avoid damage. Coordinate with production staff to ensure a steady supply of materials to production lines. Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Strong understanding of inventory management systems. Ability to perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Excellent coordination and organization skills. Capability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures. Certified Forklift Operator
