INSTALLER Sun Country Truck Equipment Inc is the premier commercial
truck body manufacturer and commercial vehicle equipment supplier
in Arizona. From landscape bodies, service bodies and flatbeds to
hitches and accessories, we provide the best in custom manufactured
truck bodies and factory commercial vehicle equipment in the
Southwest. Job Description: The Truck Bed/Body Installer will be
responsible for installing and customizing truck bodies according
to customer specifications. They will work as part of a team,
ensuring that all work is completed to a SCT standard of quality,
safety, and efficiency. The installer will be responsible for using
a variety of hand and power tools to complete the installation and
will need to have a good understanding of mechanical, electrical,
hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Applicants must have extensive
experience in welding/fabrication, forklift operation, jigging, and
efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will know
how to operate saws, welders, and know fitting, and finishing
processes. Qualifications Technical or vocational training in a
related field is desirable. ASE Certification is a plus. Previous
experience in a related field is an advantage. Must have own tools.
Ability to work long hours in an outside open-air shop. Must be
able to safely lift a minimum of 50lbs. Ability to stoop, bend
over, and stand for long periods of time. A High School diploma or
equivalent is preferred. Competencies/Skills: Proven experience in
truck body installation or a related field. Experience working with
mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability
to use a range of hand and power tools. Must have experienced on
MIG welding Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to
read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong
problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills to liaise with
colleagues and sales team. Strong focus on safety at all times. Job
Duties/Responsibilities: Install and customize truck bodies to meet
customer specifications. Use a variety of hand and power tools to
complete the installation. Install aftermarket truck equipment
including but not limited to winches, toolboxes, etc. Install
electrical and lighting systems as required. Cut and fit materials
to ensure a precise fit. Ensure that all work is completed to a
high standard of quality and safety. Troubleshoot and repair any
issues that arise during the installation process. Work as part of
a team to ensure that projects are completed on time. Keeping a
clean and orderly work area. Deliverables: Jobs must be completed
correctly within the hours quoted. QC kickbacks/mistakes must be
corrected, and metrics must show steady month to month decline in
returns or kickbacks. Measurable improvements on time to complete
each job within 90 days. Sustain repeatability on standard builds
to maximize profitability & paid performance. Follow production
tracker as it is updated with the latest information from foreman
and sales. Report immediately any mistakes made in the process.

after the first 90 days of employment, 2 weeks accrued PTO during
the first year of employment and 3 weeks accrued PTO during the

starting range DOE. New employees will be eligible for Medical,
