pstrongJoin the Border Tire team Border Tire is hiring Tire Technicians in Phoenix, Arizona!/strong/p pThestrongTire Technicians/strongare responsible for repairs ontruck and trailer tires to ensure efficient operation and complianceby performing the following duties./p pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p ul liInspects truck/trailer tires for excessive wear, bulges, cuts,and damaged tread./li liRepair tires with minor malfunctions./li liProperly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation./li liUnbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools./li liProperly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely onthevehicle./li liRepair or replace tires on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks./li liResponsible for proper installation of wheels and tires, balancing wheels,and checking for correct fit./li liMaintains all inventories and tire equipment./li liReassemble tires onto wheels./li liPrepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting./li liDisposes of damaged/old tires in accordance with state regulations./li liEnsures tires are functioning properly and withintheDepartment of Transportation and Occupational Safety and Health Act Compliance./li liSafely operates all tools and equipment./li liReportsany safety issues immediately to management./li liKeepsshoparea neat and clean./li liAssist mechanics and perform other duties as directed./li liMust have a current, valid drivers license for the state in which the employee performs his or her driving duties./li liMust maintain a clean driving record, i.e., must remain insurable under our companys liability insurance policy(safety-sensitive position)./li liOther duties may be assigned./li /ul br / strongQualifications:/strong ul liMust be at least 18 years of age./li liMust have a valid drivers license and a clean MVR record./li liMust be a self-starter and be willing to take initiative./li liWilling and able to work without direct supervision./li li2 years related experiencein the commercialtireindustry./li liMust have strong mechanical skills./li /ul br / strongJob Benefits:/strong ul li401(k)/li liDental Insurance/li liHealth Insurance/li liLife Insurance/li liPaid Time Off/li liTuition Reimbursement/li liVision insurance/li /ul pemstrongBenefit Conditions:/strong/em/p ul liOnly full-time employees are eligible./li /ul pstrongBORDER TIRE/strong/p pstrongYOUR LOCAL TIRE EXPERTS/strong/p pBorder Tire is all things tire.
