Job Description Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description Perform shipping and receiving assignments by following specific directions and using standard procedures. Responsibilities include receiving, loading, unloading, picking, and controlling inventory. You will be responsible for stocking products, consolidating and replenishing items throughout the warehouse, and picking and pulling products for daily orders. Responsibilities Receive and verify documentation, SKU numbers, quantities, and overall quality from vendors. Stock products from vendors and plants into bulk locations. Consolidate products with the same SKU numbers in bulk locations. Pull bulk products and place them in pick zones. Consult with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues. Retrieve specified products from pick locations for shipping. Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loading. Meet and maintain department quality and productivity standards. Drive power industrial equipment as needed. Essential Skills Experience in shipping and receiving, order picking, and material handling. Proficiency with pallet jacks, RF scanners, and electric pallet jacks. 1-2 years of warehouse experience required. Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately. Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Previous power industrial vehicle experience preferred. Ability to work in 3-level modules and not afraid of heights. Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice. Why Work Here? The position is for the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required. The facility offers a comfortable and modern work setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ 85043. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
