This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation cases across various practice areas, such as insurance defense, general liability, medical malpractice, construction defect, and more. The successful candidate will bring strong litigation skills and be an integral part of our team, working closely with senior attorneys and partners. Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of the litigation process including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop defense strategies and legal arguments. Attend court proceedings including hearings, trials, and settlement conferences. Maintain the highest level of professional and ethical standards as dictated by the state bar association. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. Active member in good standing with the state bar of Arizona. Experience with insurance defense, general liability, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and/or construction defect is preferred. Proven track record of successfully defending clients in complex litigation cases. Strong legal research and writing skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
