Job Description Job Description Description -Inbound Transportation team is looking for Inbound transport, managing scheduled pickups, re-routing hauls, resolving issues, data analysis, interacting with other people. Working with several vendors. Hauls = 18 wheelers with freight -Meeting in morning to review plan and recap prior day. Will be assigned to vendors and use excel to track vendor activity. Reach out to vendors to learn issues and resolve. Analyze data. Problem-solving with shipment, i.e. why shipment isn’t picked up. One contractor will be working with approx. 50 different vendors Skills data analysis, Excel, logistics, transportation, business analytics, business intelligence Top Skills Details data analysis,Excel,logistics Additional Skills & Qualifications LPs? Customer obsession, bias for action, deliver results Qualifications: Stability/ Reliable Excellent PC skills Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Able to analyze and interpret data Associate’s required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred 3 years industry experience (not seeking a specific title) Combination of degree and industry experience can be considered Important skills to look for: start-up area, able to work with multiple screens (est. 15 tabs at once) solving riddles, problem-solving attitude Disqualifiers?: heavy job-hopping low attendance poor references Best vs. Average: 2 years in one role Transportation experience History of promotion BI training/ Business Analytics experience/certificate Banking industry, Analyst, Management, Office environment, or Corporate environment experience Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
