Job Description:
American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks
Technical Project Managers to drive the development and delivery of
technical products and solutions for our customers. Engage with
product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to
understand business needs and identify solutions. Coordinate with
business units to prioritize, plan, and execute development
schedules in-line with product development initiatives and
regulatory needs. Guide technical teams in the execution of project
plans and track team velocity, financials, and other KPIs in
relation to project plans and progress reports. Perform reviews of
product backlogs, designs, code, test scripts, and results and
address delivery impediments or product quality issues. Use
technical acumen to provide design alternatives and support team in
technical issue resolution. Maintain dependency plans between
planned sprints across engineering, infrastructure, and
third-parties. Conduct daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the
end of each sprint. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems,
Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of
experience with technical delivery and IT project management. In
the alternative, employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu
of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
and 5 years of experience with technical delivery and IT project
management. Experience must include: 5 years of experience working
on projects using SDLC Methodologies and Agile Practices, including
Waterfall, Scrum, and KANBAN; 3 years of experience with each of
the following: project planning and implementation using the Scaled
Agile Framework (SAFe 4.5); PI Planning, Agile Release Trains,
Release Train Engineer, and Scrum Master activities; CA Agile
Central (Rally), Clarity, and SDLC Project Management Tools;
working with the following technologies: Mainframe, Midrange, UNIX,
SQL, Tableau, Confluence, MS SharePoint, MS Visio; utilizing HP
Quality Center to manage testing practices; using ProVision for
enterprise business process modeling and documentation, including
use case models, UML diagrams, heat maps, data mapping and
transformation workflows. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days
per week. Any suitable combination of education, training, or
experience is acceptable. Job Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary Range:
