Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Work from home - daily commutable distance to Phoenix Metro area.
Shift: 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday primarily. 1 week per month overnight travel.

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 Base Salary - Not OT or Bonus eligible -
Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits Package + Generous Per Diem + Company Credit Card

Travel: Travel is primarily day to day throughout Phoenix Metro area with 1 week per month overnight travel to TX for a few days at a time. Mileage/vehicle reimbursement & tools provided.

Position Description: This is a highly autonomous role which will require working from home and travel. Prior experience with technical support of water and wastewater analytical instrumentation or treatment equipment is not essential for this role; however, experience with electrical and fluidics trouble shooting / repairs and safe handling of chemical reagents would be beneficial. This is a customer-facing role and will require good communication skills, a professional approach and compliance with client health and safety policies and procedures.

Provide remote diagnostics, triage and support for company's installed base of online inorganic, trace metal and THM water quality analyzers.
Install new inorganic, trace metal and THM water quality analyzers.
Support installation and maintenance of company's SafeGuard--- H2O water treatment systems.
Provide input to all service and installation manuals and training materials.
Support the Product Design group by identifying analyzer serviceability improvements and root cause analysis of analyzer non-performance events.
Manage local inventory of spare parts.
Work closely with the Client Services group to optimize scheduling of maintenance visits.

Requirements/ Relevant Experience:
Experience with electrical and fluidics trouble shooting / repairs and safe handling of chemical reagents would be beneficial. Successful candidates may come from various backgrounds such as: 1) Experience with HVAC systems, building control systems, or plant control systems. 2)Mechanical and/or electrical assembly or testing. 3) Experience working in a water or wastewater treatment. 4) Technician from an aerospace, chemical, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or military background.
