ABOUT THE JOB:
Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions in a new Flight Management System. You will generate innovative solutions while trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  
• 3+ years of experience in software development
  
• Familiar with DO-178, Software Aspects of Certification
  
• Experience in full lifecycle software development
  
• Experience with Flight Management System development
  
• Experience with software architecture
  
• Ability to code in multiple languages including C++
  
• Demonstrated ability to develop efficient and high-quality software
  
• Experience in requirements development and design
  
• Experience with software integration
  
• Experience with software testing
  
• Experience with software verification and validation
  
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
  
• Effective communicator
  
• Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
  
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
  
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
