This position is located at Luke AFB, AZ and will support the F-35
Program. The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) performs
cybersecurity tasks on assigned systems utilizing JSIG, NIST,
System A&A and other cyber governance.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, continuous
monitoring activities, audit log review, incident response, user
training, media control, configuring secure information systems,
developing A&A artifacts and implementation of risk mitigation
strategies for complex simulation, training and operational systems
supporting F-35 pilot and maintainer training. This role provides
guidance to LM and Government customers on multiple F-35 system
boundaries at Luke AFB. Ensures self-inspection reviews, system
reviews, and audits are conducted on assigned systems. This is a
multi-tasking environment that demands strong customer service,
communication, and organizational skills.
Mission requirements may require other than first-shift work. Other
duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Final Transferable Secret security clearance; last Periodic
Reinvestigation must be within the last six (6) years or enrollment
in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
access.
- Have and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Frequent use and application of cybersecurity principles,
methodologies and concepts.
- Understanding of configuration management principles.
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to established security
policies.
Desired Skills:
- Experience as an Information System Security Officer or
Information Systems Security Manager.
- Experience with the day to day operations of an F-35 training
center including one or more of the multiple F-35 boundaries
supporting academics and flying operations such as Autonomic
Logistics Information System, Mission Planning Environment,
Training Systems and Support Equipment.
- Experience working in a military environment.
- Experience working with Foreign Nationals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve a variety of technical issues of moderate
complexity with very general supervision.
