We look to revolutionize the way the world learns, and we can't wait for you to help drive the future of online learning forward!As a Sr Software Engineer for the Content Search Group domain within Pearson's Core Learning Services Platform, you will be joining our organization as we grow and transform our Technology landscape. The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for building new features and use cases for search, supporting the platform on a day-to-day basis. Ability to mentor other team members on best practices is important as we keep updating our tech stack constantly.Responsibilities:+ Design and implement highly scalable ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack solutions+ Experience with building solutions for Java and Spring+ Experience with designing and upgrading DevOps CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Cloudformation templates.+ Elasticsearch and Logstash performance and configuration tuning+ Should have experience in AWS, Docker, ECS (Elastic Container Service)+ Experience with networking, VPNs, compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers), and developing/maintaining production-grade systems in virtualized environments.+ Experience implementing cloud networking security, identity and access management, DNS, etc.+ Experience writing REST APIs using spring and microservice architecture.Experience:+ Java: 8 years (Required)+ Spring: 5 years (Required)+ AWS: 3 year (Required)+ Elastic Search: 3 years (Required)As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $140,000- $150,000 with a AIP Bonus up to 10%.
