Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) is one the largest IT services program for the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), supporting approximately 400,000 seats around the world. Under SMIT, the SMIT contractor will provide enterprise services to the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), Navy-Marine Corps Internet (NMCI), and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) including transport, datacenter, network operations, service desk, cybersecurity, and managed services. CDW-G will be supporting the SMIT contractor in several of these service areas. The BMC Digital Workplace Developermust have experience with ARS/ITSM system administration and troubleshooting, CMDB normalization and reconciliation from discovered sources such as ADDM. Key Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for creating, facilitating, controlling, reporting, documenting and improving both Service Catalog and Service Request Management processes in support of an Enterprise IT Shared Services environment for a Federal department. Facilitate catalog and request management related meetings and improvement initiatives and provide documented status. Work with ITSM program office to ensure data gathered is consistent with overall program requirements. Other responsibilities as assigned. Must Have Skills: 3-5 years of BMC Remedy ITSM with emphasis on Service Catalog, Service Request Manager, DWP-A. Creating, facilitating, controlling, reporting, documenting, and improving both Service Catalog and Service Request Management processes in support of an Enterprise IT Shared Services environment for a Federal department. Ability to effectively verbalize, document, communicate and facilitate the identification, handling, status reporting, solution options and alternatives, change implementation of various changes to catalog and service request items for distribution in the IT environment, and ultimately made available to the user community. Ability to effectively document business cases, solution strategies, status tracking, processes, procedures, and knowledge articles associated with implementing service catalog and service request processes. Facilitate catalog and request management related meetings and improvement initiatives and provide documented status. Ability to evangelize the service catalog and service request management practice areas, articulating vision, design, and improvement ideas to motivate early adopters and change actors towards those goals. Ability to organize IT services for customer selection, identify standard changes and other routine requests, document their process, apply system workflow to enable the service, and ultimately provide no-touch self-service capability for customers. Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret) required. Active CompTia Security+ certification required. Nice to have: BMC Helix. ITIL v3/ Itilv4 Certification.
